Women who choose to become egg donors are also choosing to change lives. They are giving recipients the chance to start a family. And they might also be making their own dreams come true.

For some egg donors, it is about helping a family overcome infertility. One in seven couples suffer from infertility and nearly 17,000 egg donor cycles take place each year, according to the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology. That means many of our egg donors have a friend or a relative that has needed help having the baby of their dreams.

For other egg donors, this is about financial independence. Compensation can enable them to afford a college education. It can give them the freedom to buy their first home, to explore their heritage in their family’s homeland, or to do something meaningful for themselves.

I recently had the pleasure of working with EggDonorIVF for my first egg donation cycle. Everyone was amazingly helpful, responsive and professional. Thank you for being there for me during the entire process – I couldn’t have asked for anything more!
I was really nervous going into the whole experience since it was my first time doing an egg donation and it’s a little overwhelming to say the least! But, working with everyone at EggDonorIVF was great and they definitely set the bar pretty high for any future donations I may complete.
I have completed three egg donation cycles. The staff has been extremely professional, personable and thorough during my care. All of my questions and concerns were addressed promptly. I never felt rushed during appointments and the staff would go above and beyond to improve comfort.

Egg Donor IVF is the part of Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) dedicated to egg donors. As a fertility practice, RMACT works with infertility patients to help them get pregnant; for some, this includes using donor eggs during treatment. RMACT, which brings together recipients (infertility patients) and egg donors, follows guidelines recommended by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the United States Food and Drug Administration. This program is based in excellent medical care and anonymity.

RMACT’s priority is quality care for its patients, including egg donors and recipients. RMACT receives the highest quality designation by major health plans in Connecticut. In addition, RMACT is one of just 11 leading In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) centers nationwide chosen by In Vitro Sciences to participate in its Centers of Excellence program.
